Wash dark colours separately. Do not tumble dry. About Shrewsbury Streetscape Project At Cooking Kneads we love to support local artists. So we were so honoured to get work with Shrewsbury Streetscape Project on this specially commissioned tea towel. It all started in April 2019, when James St Clair Wade, a local artist and acclaimed architect, embarked on a project aimed at capturing the historical essence of Shrewsbury’s streets. Through a series of distinctive architectural perspectives, Wade sought to present entire streetscapes, allowing viewers to take in the full length of each street simultaneously. Notable locations such as Wyle Cop, High Street, Mardol, Quarry Place, St. John’s Hill, Shoplatch, Pride Hill, Castle Street, Castle Foregate, St. Mary’s Place, St. Mary’s Street, Windsor Place, Dogpole, the south side of Town Walls, Milk Street, and Belmont have already been documented.
